Our garden had to move to "PlanB" when our amazingly adorable cat went and sat on our seedlings. *sad face* So we visited our buddies at the local ACE hardware to get their garden center plants as replacements. Also spring is here, the stay-at-home things is waning and it's going to be a HOT market from here until winter!! We've got tips for those looking to sell or buy! NOW is your time!!!

We continue our victory garden planning and prep with starting strawberry plants. Find these unique root balled starter plants in the same area as seeds. They take some added prep time, and soaking in water to "wake them up" after being in the package for awhile. Always follow instructions that come with your individual plants. We're still here!!! I know you are probably finding yourself with some extra time in your day... that's okay. Our city is full of great outdoor things to do!!! Last week we talked with Mayor Zach about the Wisconsin Rapids Aquatic Center opening soon, and this week we chat about the city's parks, walking paths, and outdoor fitness area. Veteran's park is ready for our summertime "lunch by the river" events (weekly on Thursdays) Other additions include repairing the river walls along the Wisconsin River, and additional charcoal grills for everyone's picnic enjoyment!
